As a clinical social worker, I aim to guide individuals to identify their strengths and resilience to start their healing journey and regain control of their lives.
I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to help them identify their counseling goals and improve their quality of life.
I provide counseling for adults and am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), while also doing some somatic work, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and motivational interviewing. I also utilize Mindfulness and Trauma-Informed Care.
I also have experience helping individuals utilize their spirituality and religious practices as coping mechanisms.
In addition to English, I speak Arabic and Russian fluently and can provide counseling using these languages.
