MESSAGE TEEASHA:
Associate Clinician
My approach to counseling uses a person-centered perspective with a focus on hope, strength, and empowerment. I also use an integrative and holistic approach of mindfulness, relaxation, art, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy when working with people. I believe that all people have the capacity to grow and move forward. They just need some additional support and a person to walk with them. And that is where I come in. I like to provide a safe and non-judgmental place for all, so that individuals feel seen, heard, and supported.
I have experience in grief counseling and provide a safe and non-judgmental space for those dealing with the loss of loved ones, pets, and one’s own health.
I have a special interest in working with those struggling with chronic health issues and disabilities, as well as working with those that have and/or are experiencing trauma, domestic violence, health anxiety, and neurodivergence. I hope to help individuals heal and grow into a healthier and happier version of themselves.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I have a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
