Asylum Cases
Asylum evaluations demonstrate a well-founded fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. Immigration law requires that the persecution either occurred in the past, or is reasonably likely to occur if the applicant returns to their country of origin.
We document the emotional and psychological impact of persecution or trauma and include country condition reports.
“Credible fear” refers to a belief that there is a significant possibility of being persecuted, harmed, or tortured if returned to one’s country of origin.
The evaluation may also include supporting evidence explaining psychological reasons as to why a client may have missed the one-year filing deadline.
